A Window Wanderland is a festival of light and images displayed in windows throughout a community. Anyone with a window in a house, garage, caravan, shop or business can take part. Pictures of animals are drawn or printed onto coloured paper, stuck in a prominent window and illuminated from behind. Houses with several windows, neighbours or a line of shops can join together to create a series of images. By registering with us your location could be included on a map (if you agree) so that everyone can walk around to see the different displays.
Everyone interested is asked to register with us using the registration form on the web site. Anyone can make up their own display or we will provide stencils and coloured paper so that you can make up your display. The displays are stuck in windows and from 5 until 10pm on each night a light will be placed behind the images. A map of all of the display locations will be available on the web site so that people can walk around the town and see all of the displays.
Simply register your property using the registration form on the web site. You will also be able to say whether you want any stencils or coloured paper.
